Todd Welch

Todd Welch

Todd Welch is a CEO, Entrepreneur, and Author who focuses on Community Risk Management. In 2000, the Welch family founded a member-owned Captive Insurance company insuring over 300 companies. The founding principle is the open sharing of claims and safety information and Community Risk Management. In 2015, Todd collaborated with Vice-Admiral John Grossenbacher, former Commander of the U.S. Naval Submarine Forces, and Paul O’Neill, CEO of Alcoa (Ret) and Former Secretary of Treasury for the United States. The tools, techniques, and ideas developed were embedded into a digital platform. The primary principle was the open sharing of information (employee to employee) about their safety. The platform's first client, one of the largest medical manufacturers in the world, showed incidents reduced by more than 50% in their primary facility after three years. After the loss of his father and brother in 2019, Todd took the role of CEO of Charter Partners and is currently expanding the Captive Insurance company and sharing what he has learned about Community Risk Management.
